Formal Education system is one of the sources for cognitive development in our society. Manavlok had established 37 Balwadi (kindergarten) at 37 villages with total beneficiaries of 1486 children and handover to state government, Facilitated 960 students at 35 centers through night study program, and provided non-formal education to 175 children of school dropout at 9 villages. Presently, Manavlok is running one Art centre, one Balwadi Centre (pre-school), one MSW (Master of Social Work)   College and   one   Home Science College which are renowned in the region across.

Run-zhun Kindergarten:

In the reportedu1ing year we have 33 children in our Kindergarten. We organized Art & Culture Activities for their development. This activity helps the Home Science College students to fulfill the curriculum of their syllabus.





Home Science College for Women: edu2  SNDT Women’s University Bombay which is our affiliated university of our Home Science College for closing new intake of student in our institute. In the reporting year we didn’t take any new students and there were 8 students of final year B.Sc Home Science. College celebrated the National Nutrition Week by organizing cooking competition. Final year student adopted one village Morewadi and provided Art & Craft training to women. Students Organized Exhibition of Art & Craft.


Manavlok College of Social Sciences: For MSW course 40 students in first year and 41 students in second year are admitted. Parents meeting organized for introducing the course, rules  and regulations of the college. In the  college library there are 4315 reference books, periodicals, 12 news papers are available. E library facility is also provided. Books exhibition is organized every year.

Orientation visits were organized. Filed work agency supervisor’s meeting was organized where 14  supervisors attended. Rural camp organized at Kuranwadi. Study tour went to Aurangabad, Paithan and Daulatabad. Dr. Vilas Bet’s lecture on challenges for social work become helpful along with that Shri Kakasaheb Dole guide students on women related legislation and role of police. Shri Amrut Mahajan and Shri Gundale author of book named ‘Andharashi Don Hat” communicated and guided students. Students also participated in survey of suicide family. They made awareness through street play on various issues.

Under the Vasantraoji Kale Education Scheme (Earn & Learn) 4 students were assisted by giving     Rs.300 per month for the duration of 4 months. 11 students participated in central your festival organized at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Aurangabad. As per UGC rules student  council containing eight students is established along  anti ragging committee, committee on anti sexual harassment of women. IQAC.social justice and empowerment committee have also established.

NAAC evaluation : edu3 s per UGC rules our college evaluated and assessed by NAAC peer tean. They showed their satisfaction over number of projects and activities run by college. After three months on  12th May 2015. College received letter from NAAC mentioned ‘B’ Grade.

Employment and guidance cell of the college organised campus interviews. 10 students got job through it.

National freedom day, Marathwada Mukti Sangram Din, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Name extention day, world women’s day etc. were celebrated in the college. Day celebrations on occasion of birth anniversary and memorial day of National leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Chh. Shivaji Maharaj, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar were celebrated. Mahatma Gandhi Foundation Jalgaon and our college together organized Gandhi Vichan Sanskar Exam where 78 students participated.

Course Work on Research Methodology  : 26 research scholars participated in this workshop. Dr. Sansanwal from New Delhi was available as a resource person. Environment activist Shri. Atul Delgaonkar delivered lecture on need of awareness about number of issues. ASER Mumbai and our college togetherly conducted survey on education status in Beed district. 70 students participated in it.

Lek Ladki Abhiyan – Satara in association with college organized campaign for making awareness against female feticide.

Manavlok’s Research Bulletin having ISSN quarterly reached in 12 district of Maharashtra. At present it have 42 members. College took participation in cleanliness city campaign and win second prize. Ex students association is established and Pitrusmruti awards are given to students  who  get excellent merit in university’s examination.  It is  based on the interest of the amount which honoured to Dr. D. S. Lohiya and Dr. Shaila Lohiya in various flicitation along with that Principal Dr. Prakash Jadhav also honoured students with excellent merit. In this academic year Devendra Samblre go win both of Prize Rani Uttam Pawar win matrsmruti Awards.

Parivartan Prakalp (Project). Since 7th September 2012 this project is runnig on the money contribution by teaching and non-teaching staff of the college.  SHG’s  establishement. Awareness making on various issues, women empowerment etc. social work is consistently going on through Parivartan project.

Hostels :edu4

It helps the poor rural girls/boys to take the benefits of higher education by providing lodging and boarding at concessional rates. Both Girls and Boys grow and develop their potential in the progressive environment at the hostel which is integrated with other activities of the organization. We separate hostels for boys and girls. Girls’ Hostel is located at MMP Campus and Boys’ Hostel is Located at Manavlok’ Head Office Campus. In the reporting year we admitted 29 girls and 8 boys respectively.


Training  Centre and Monitoring Related :

edu5 We pOur training centre is well designed and well furnished for both residential and non-residential types of trainings, located at Manavlok Campus, Ambajogai. This training centre is one of the sources to build our volunteers to professional social worker and it is a source of income generating through lending to other organization for trainings.

In the reporting year, we used this training centre for various trainings Conducted by Manavlok for the stakeholders of integrated watershed development like A training programme for the committee members of watershed programme under integrated watershed management programme sponsored by Vasundhara Watershed development scheme, and Introductory Training on preparation of detailed project report, training on participatory rural appraisal, training on internal resources and livelihood. Being Manavlok is a District Recourse Organisation (DRO) for integrated watershed management programme; we send the trainings’ reports to Yashada, Pune.  Shri. Lalasaheb Agale had been to Yashada, Pune for the planning and review of the training given under Manavlok as District Resources Organization. Ku. Deepali Maske had attended twice ten days training programme organized by Krishi Vidnyan Kendra Karpude Jalana.

Also this training centre was used by different department of Manavlok like Manavlok’s College of Social Sciences used it for conferences and classes for both students and academicians. For income generating we allowed other organizations/people to use our training centre. In the reporting year too there were 7 workshops/programmes and 5 marriages were held in this training centre and Halls.

We had conducted final evaluated the activities of Haryali at several villages like two villages under Tq. Shirur, 6 villages under Tq. Asti, 2 villages under Tq. Patoda, 2 Villages under Tq. Wadavani, two Villages under Tq. Beed, 4 villages under Tq. Kaij.

Skills Training :

edu6We provide skill training for women at Salegaon Sub-Center. In the reporting there were 31 beneficiaries under tailoring course. Out of 31 beneficiaries 28 were sponsored MICONE.
