In various villages of North Solapur taluka, a project is being implemented to support farmers for toxic-free-sustainable farming through group farming. Reduction of production cost, equitable, efficient, and effective use of water to achieve more profit, development of onion value chain, etc. are underway. This year 8 farmer groups were assisted with 3 BBF machines, 12 sprinklers, 4 gravity separators, various inputs, and training technology for internal use. Along with this, the construction area was also increased to 48 ha 95 r. Efforts are being made by 12 farmer groups for onion crops next year through the Farmer Producer Company.
