Many villages were damaged due to the severe flood situation in Sangli-Kolhapur Districts. Most of the households and farmland were heavily affected by the floodwater. As soon as the unfortunate incident was known, MANAVLOK started rescue and relief work in the 13 villages of the Sangli district. These included giving support to the flood victim in terms of the distribution of free fresh daily meals, 1000 sets of groceries and essential goods kits (approximately . 22 tons), 1000 sets of blankets & bedsheets, 2000 clothes for men, women, and children for their daily use, drinking water, water boxes, medical support, ambulance service, etc., as well as conducting cleaning and rescue work in the villages using JCB machines. On August 31st & September 1st, all MANAVLOK workers visited the flood-hit villages from Sangli and Kolhapur districts, respectively, and distributed grocery material kits, blankets, bedsheets, and drinking water to flood-affected villagers. This support was provided to the villages of Brahmanal, Padmale, Khataw, Vasgade, Sukhwadi, Borban, Malwadi, Chopadewadi, Bhiwadi, MaujeDigras, Narsinhwadi, Rajapurwadi, Kurundwad, and Kothari.
