Toy Bank, an initiative under The Opentree Foundation, is an organization in India that promotes the Right to Play for all children. They adopt a mindful approach to promote a child’s mental well-being and socio-economic development. Manavlok collaborated with Toybank to set up play centers at Zilla Parishad schools and Anganwadis. Play centers are spaces where children can have educational play sessions. These sessions consist of playing educational games that are both instructive and amusing. These games are stocked keeping in mind the developmental needs of the children. Educational games include a variety of toys, like alphabets, puzzles, and word scrambles. MANAVLOK is implementing this project in 62 schools and 15 Aganwadis in Ambajogai, Kaij, Parli and Dharur talukas. About 8000+ students are benefiting from this initiative.
