In rural areas, many elderly individuals who are destitute have no one to care for them. These individuals lack any means of income or resources to feed themselves. To address this issue, the Trupti Initiative (a community food house) was started by MANAVLOK through public participation back in 2016. Recently, the Trupti Kitchen initiative was expanded to include three new villages: Ladegaon (Kaij), Awargaon (Dharur), and Karwanji Lohara in Dist. Dharashiv. A total of 39 destitute elderly citizens in these villages will now receive clean, fresh, and nutritious food twice daily. To date, over 500 indigent senior citizens have benefited from two meals a day through 40 kitchens. The inauguration of the Trupti Kitchen was attended by MANAVLOK's Hon. Aniket Lohiya, Associate Hon. Lalasaheb Agle, Give India's representative Hon. Sai Saranya, Dr. B. K. Thombre, and journalist Hon. Anil Mahajan, among others.
