On July 23rd, 2023, a workshop titled "Youth Awareness: Dreams and Challenges" was held in honour of the late Principal Dr. Shaila (Bhabhi) Lohiya Memorial Day. The workshop also included the inauguration of the Shaila Lohiya Library. The event was attended by Hon. Amrut Bang (Joint Director, Search, Gadchiroli), Hon. Mukta Chaitanya (Founder, Cyber Maitra, Pune), Executive Hon. Dr. Aniket Lohiya from Manavlok, Coordinator of Manaswini Women's Project Dr. Arundhati Patil, and Prakash Jadhav, the Principal of Manavlok Social Work College. The library was renovated and renamed in honour of Prof. Shaila Lohiya and was inaugurated by distinguished guests. During the workshop, Hon. Amrut Bang spoke about the current state of youth and encouraged them to set goals and fulfil their social responsibilities. Hon. Mukta Chaitanya urged the youth to be cautious while using social media, limit screen time, and avoid cybercrime and fraud. The event was attended by college students, professors, young women, and activists from Manavlok. It was a successful and informative day dedicated to raising awareness about the challenges facing the youth of today.
