Directly observed treatment or DOT, is the name given to the tuberculosis (TB) control strategy recommended by the World Health Organization. According to WHO, "The most cost-effective way to stop the spread of TB in communities with a high incidence is by curing it. MANAVLOK has been implementing this programme since 2003. Since inception of the project, over 385 TB patients benefited under this programme. We also conducted several meetings and awareness programs regarding this in 41+ villages like rally, role play, poster exhibitions, etc.
