Childline 1098 is a free 24-hour service for children between the ages of zero and 18 in need of care and protection. is an initiative to rescue and help children in distress. Manavlok has been functioning since 2011 as the nodal agency for child line 1098 services in the Beed district. Child marriage, child labour, child begging, child victims of sex trafficking, children abandoned by parents or guardians, especially girls' domestic work. Children affected by physical/sexual/emotional abuse in families, schools or institutions, children in need of emotional support and guidance, children victims of substance abuse, differently-abled children, and missing children.
