Resilient and self-reliant rural communities leading towards sustainable and thriving economies

The project Resilient and self-reliant rural communities leading towards Sustainable and thriving economies in association with Reliance Foundation and Manavlok Ambajogai is being implemented in Pathri, Gangakhed and Selu talukas of Parbhani district. In the last three months, 120 villages in three talukas have been selected in this project for the purpose of taking measures for the sustainable development of these villages and are being given under the Purepur Bhar project. PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal) process in terms of village development under the project for individual development, collective development, and agricultural development. Village P.R.A. (Participatory Rural Assessment) process and pre-Kharip season planning meetings, Climate Champion, Village Development Forum (Community Platform), Women's Group, Farmers' Group to create public awareness about BBF technology system, MahaDBT camp for the farmers to benefit from the government scheme, 25 token machines were distributed with the aim of making the sowing process simple and economical. Millet seeds were distributed for good health. Also in different villages on the occasion of 5th June World Environment Day. 3500 saplings were planted. Water and soil conservation works 3 seepage ponds, DCCT, LBS, drains and 2 lakh 50 thousand cubic litres of water capacity through deepening and straightening have been helped under the project.
